Last week we went with some friends to Das Tollhaus in bad Vibel.
They have one main climbing frame area.
It’s really open so you can see your children at all times.
It has lots of things to climb, slide, crawl & swing on!
They only have one slide going of the main frame. Its a really fast twisty slide, not my favourite but D seems to like it! I do miss the large bumpy lane slides that several of the other indoor play places have.
There is a part of the main frame on the lower floor which is basically pitch black with things hanging & swinging your face. D is really not a fan of this!
You can access the top of the main climbing frame through one of the tunnels linked to the upper floor seating.
One of the things I like about Das Tollhaus is that it has a proper ball pool. In Tolliwood & Hallgalli in Myzeil they only have small ball pools in the baby section.
D loves lying down and covering himself with the balls!
They have a bouncy slide which is accessed by climbing up part of the main climbing frame.
A bouncy castle
There is a giant lego building blocks area
A soft shooter area.
You have to pay extra for this.
They have a very small Toddler area with a playhouse, slides & bouncy animals.
They also have bobby cars for the younger ones to drive around on.
They have a car circuit which you have to pay extra for. We always end our trips here with one go on these.
They have the usual electronic attractions which you need to pay extra for!
They have a good choice of food here.
You go to the counter to order but they then bring your food over to your table.
They operate a tab paying system so you can pay at the end of your visit in case you fancy another drink or treat later on! You can off course pay at the same time as ordering your food if you prefer.
D’s favourite treat is the Waffle
There is plenty of seating in the cafe area with highchairs for the little ones, although finding a table at the weekends during busy periods can be tough!
As well as the main seating area in the cafe, there is also lots of seating dotted around the play area.
There is also additional seating on the upper level for when it’s really busy.
On the bar of the cafe is a wide selection of magazines for mums & dads to read whilst their kids are happily playing!
They have a place to hang coats and boxes to leave shoes in
They also have lockers for valuable items.
Baby changing is available in the disabled toilet.
Das Tollhaus is open Monday -Thursdays 2pm-7pm, Fridays 2pm-9pm, Saturday 11am-9pm & Sunday 10am-7pm.
Children under 2 years are free, 2 year old’s cost €3.50, 3years+ cost €7.50 & adults cost €4.

There is plenty of free car parking!
