Here are some of the fun events coming up in & around Frankfurt in July 2017
On the 1st July there is a family sports fest taking place at Brentanobad from 1pm-8pm
The 1st-2nd July
7th-9th July at Rebstockpark you can find the 12th African culture fest.
With a kids program, live music, political discussions & along with African food & crafts.
The Iron man championship takes place in Frankfurt on the 9th July
The Main Spiele takes place from 1st-16th July,daily from 11am-7pm(closed Sunday 9th) along the banks of the river on the Sachsenhausen side between the Eisernen Steg and the Untermainbrücke.
Its run by the Abenteuerspielplatz Riederwald and has lots of great free activities for kids.
The Opernspiele takes place from the 29th July until the 13th August daily from 11am until 7pm at Opernplatz.
This is also run by the Abenteuerspielplatz Riederwald and has lots of fun free activities for kids.
Free Museum day
Saturday 29th July is SaTOURday, Frankfurts free museum day.
Every last Saturday of the month excluding August & December,some(not all) of Frankfurt’s museums offer free admission and have workshops & guided tours with different motto’s also free of charge.
On the 7th-9th July Marburg hold their city fest with a children’s program, Dragon boat race, live music and food & drinks.
On the 8th July from 10.15pm the castle will be bathed in light with an illumination followed by a big firework display.
You can find a medieval fest in Büdingen on the 8th-9th July.

28th-30th July, live music, street food, amusment rides & on the Saturday night a firework & laser show. Sunday is family day!
From the 28th-31st July is the hafenfest in Ingelheim.
There will be Rides, workshops for children, a tractor and old timer cars meet, live music & lots of food & drink & it ends with a big firework display on the Monday evening. Check the link above for the program.
