Another week another Fasanerie, this time in hanau! We headed over to the Wildpark „Alte Fasanerie“ Hanau
The park is huge!
Children are able to ride ponies for €3, this is situated pretty close to the entrance so was one of the first things we did.
D & his friend loved this!
We set of into the park to explore & came across wild pigs, cattle, wolves & Elch.
Saying hello to some mice!
We came across these hungry guys.
There were play things dotted around the park for kids like this mini roundabout.
There were information signs
The boys loved the petting zoo
D made friends with a rabbit
Mr goat stay away from my food!
The goats in the petting zoo were very active & eager for food.
We stopped at one of the playgrounds. It had a climbing frame
Swings, a mini play house & a wooden caterpillar
A seesaw & sandy hills
The boys had great fun running up and down the hills
There was an area for den building
We stopped off for icecream from one of the snack vans by entrance 2. They served ice creams, crepes, milkshakes and the usual drinks.
The Ice cream appeared to taste good!
There was plenty of picnic tables & seating dotted around the park
I loved this train picnic area for the younger kids.
We spent all day here & still didn’t see a lot of the park so we will be returning soon. We didn’t walk in with the deer or see any of the birds & we also need to try the second play park out.
Tip: Take insect repelant as walking through the park we all got bitten!
