We had such a great day out at the barefoot walk in Bad Sobernheim the other week that we decided to try out another one. This time we headed over to Germanys longest Barefoot walk in Bad Orb.
The walk is very much water based which D loved!
Near to the start you come across a nice play park with slides, swings, sand pit & zip line.
The muddy field was his favourite!
We spent a long time here!
Around the walk you find the usual stones, pine cones, corks and things to balance on!
Another of D’s favorites was this little water/mud walk way.
The walk is made up of 36 different stations & is spread out with lots of grassy areas. The walk itself is around 4.5km Long and is the longest in Germany.
The start is at the back of the Kurpark,it goes around the wildlife park & back to the Kurpark. The second part of the walk where you go around the wildlife park is really hilly & there are not nearly as many materials or activities.
Make sure you bring plenty of drinks & snacks with you on the walk.
At the start/end there is a small kiosk serving basic drinks. When we were there, there was also an ice cream van.
Toilets can be found in the concert hall in the park close to the start of the walk.
Children pay €1
Adults pay €2.50
It took us just under an hour by car & we parked along Kurparkstraße right alongside the park.
